Advantage utilizes revolutionary new chemistry to produce unprecedented flea control results on dogs and cats. Advantage contains a new active ingredient, imidacloprid which is a chloronicotinyl nitroguanidine, from the nitromethylene class of compounds. The new active ingredient has a mode of action unlike any other flea control product.
